Songvy Nguyen is a compassionate, creative and dedicated piano teacher at KOKO Music. With over five years of teaching experience, she brings a student-centered approach to every lesson, thoughtfully adapting to each learner's unique style and needs.
Ms. Songvy is deeply committed to making music education accessible, especially for young people in the community. Her mission is to foster a positive, encouraging learning environment where students can grow not only as musicians but also as confident individuals through the joy of music.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Cognitive Science with a Minor in Education from the University of California, Berkeley, and is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Music Therapy at New York University. Her academic background gives her a rich understanding of both the cognitive aspects of learning and the therapeutic power of music.
Her lessons blend technical skill-building with creativity and emotional connection, making each session engaging, meaningful, and personalized. Whether a student is just beginning or seeking to refine their skills, Ms. Songvy supports every learner on their musical journey.
