Tuition is based on a semester system. Semesters include 17 weekly lessons and one week reserved at the end of the semester for make-up lessons.
KOKO Music does not confirm the student's lesson slot until we receive all the agreements and fees. Please note that once a student signs up, the slot will be held for 3 days only. If payment and required documents are not received within 3 days, the registration may be cancelled and the spot may be offered to another student.
Registration Fees:
There is a $50 non-refundable annual registration fee for all students.
*The annual registration fee is very active and important for the music school, as it mainly helps cover administrative costs and studio maintenance, such as biannual piano tuning and purchasing new strings for studio guitars, which is not included in the tuition. We'd so appreciate your understanding.

- Fall Semester: Thursday, September 4th, 2025 - Saturday, January 24th, 2026
- Spring Semester: Monday, February 2nd, 2026 - Monday, June 15th, 2026

Deposit:
- To secure a spot in our program, a non-refundable deposit of $300 is required at the time of registration. This deposit includes the $50 annual registration fee and a portion of the tuition.
- The deposit must be paid within 3 days of signing up. Payment can be made via Zelle or check. Please note that the deposit is non-refundable, and ensures your child’s place in the class.
- For students on the Monthly Payment plan, the spot is secured once the first month’s tuition plus the $50 annual registration fee is paid within 3 days of registration (ACH Only).
- If the deposit is not received within 3 days, your registration may be cancelled and the spot may be offered to another student.
- Please note: This deposit does not apply to MUSICOCOTTE classes or the 5-week trial package, which are only accepted as full payment upfront.
Payment Methods:
- Tuition for Fall (September to January) and Spring (February to June) is based on a semester system of 17 weekly lessons, and payment is due in full before the first lesson.
- Tuition and fees may be paid by check, ACH payment or Zelle.
- We only accept monthly installment payments through ACH. Checks and Zelle are not accepted for installment plans.
- If you choose to pay with a monthly installment plan, payment will be made in 5 installments, automatically withdrawn via ACH on the 1st of each month. Please note that monthly payment plans include a 5% additional fee compared to the full semester upfront payment.
Late Payment Fees:
- Payment is due on the 1st of each month via ACH. In the event that the payment is unsuccessful due to insufficient funds or other issues, a second attempt will be made within 3 business days.
- If payment is not completed within 7 days of the due date, a late payment fee of $20 will be charged. This fee is non-refundable and covers administrative processing costs.
5-week Trial Lesson Package:
- The fee for the 5-week trial lesson package must be paid in full as a one-time payment. We cannot change it to a monthly payment plan. Additionally, there are no refunds available if you decide to cancel early.
- The deposit must be paid within 3 days of signing up. If the deposit is not received within 3 days, your registration may be cancelled and the spot may be offered to another student.
Cancellation and Refund Policy:
- Deposit: A non-refundable deposit of $300 is required to secure a spot in our program. This deposit will not be refunded under any circumstances, including cancellations.
- Tuition Refunds
- Cancellation during Week 2: 50% of the remaining tuition will be refunded
- Cancellation during Week 3: 30% of the remaining tuition will be refunded
- Cancellation after Week 4: no refunds will be given
*There is no tuition refund for students on a monthly payment plan.
Recital Fees:
- Recital participation is optional; however, a recital fee is required for students who choose to participate.
- The recital fee covers venue rental, piano use and tuning, staffing, administrative costs, and the significant preparation involved in organizing the recital.
- All recital fees are non-refundable and non-transferable, including cases of illness, scheduling conflicts, or last-minute cancellations. Because recital-related expenses are incurred in advance, fees cannot be refunded, credited, or applied to other charges.
