Guitar, Voice & Songwriting Instructor

Yuexi Wei is a singer-songwriter, guitarist, and music teacher whose passion for art and well-being recently led her to earn a Community Health Musician Certificate from Berklee College of Music in Boston. She plans to deepen her songwriting skills and has been accepted to Berklee’s Bachelor of Music program with an original composition and guitar accompaniment.

Previously, Yuexi obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Cognitive Science from the University of California, Berkeley. Her academic background has honed her understanding of diverse learning styles, enabling her to create warm, inviting lessons that incorporate music therapy principles. She encourages creativity by emphasizing the importance of play and individual expression in learning.

Currently, Yuexi performs at shows and open mics in New York, sharing her acoustic, introspective, and heartfelt music. She posts her original music on her YouTube channel (@yuexi.w)and works as a flower barista at a creative cafe.
