We strongly believe that building a healthy and strong teacher-student relationship is essential to a successful learning experience. Therefore, we offer adaptive and inclusive private lessons carefully tailored and personalized for each student based on their strengths, preferences, and goals. We ensure their well-rounded musical development by teaching fundamentals- such as reading notes/chords and playing with proper technique- through fun and engaging exercises in improvisation, singing, composition, music theory, and rhythm games. *Classes are 30, 45, or 60 minutes. Please consult with your teacher for recommended lesson length.
GUITAR SEMI-PRIVATE LESSONS Age 6+
Classes are 30 or 45 minutes and recommended for two students of similar ages and abilities. This class is designed to learn basic guitar/music skills as well as musicianship! All musicians need to respect and listen to each other to create music harmoniously together. Students will be introduced to the guitar, and encouraged to learn how to tune a guitar, play basic chords and strum on the beat and sing simple songs. Collaborating is an important part of making music. Students will be introduced to duets where they will both be able to perform together. *Semi-private lessons must have 2 participants, as we do not offer participant matching.
SONGWRITING Age 6+
Does your child love creating songs? Then, this might be an option! Learn to express yourself by creating and performing your original melodies and tunes! We will learn about how music is structured by exploring melodies and harmonies, and how to notate notes and rhythms onto sheet music. We will guide you step-by-step on how to take a musical idea and turn it into a song that can be shared and performed to help build confidence in a fun and success-oriented way! This class is recommended for students who have at least one semester of experience in an instrument.
