Summer Lessons 2026
Private lessons are available on a limited basis on Tuesdays and Thursdays after 3:30 PM, following camp hours, and on Saturdays in the morning only.Instructor availability is limited during the summer due to the intensive Summer Camp schedule, so lesson availability is more restricted than during the regular semester. For our currently enrolled students, summer lessons support continuity of learning throughout the break. We also warmly welcome new students! All participants are asked to commit to a minimum 4-week session, with lessons scheduled at a fixed weekly time. Please note that make-up lessons are not available during the summer session. Fall 2026 Waiting List Now Open We are currently beginning to organize our Fall 2026 semester schedule. Priority will be given to returning students when finalizing the schedule. As our program has been close to full this semester, availability for new students will be limited and cannot be guaranteed. That said, we are always very happy to meet new families and students, and we truly enjoy welcoming new students into our studio community! 26' MUSIC SUMMER CAMP! All 5 weeks of our Summer Music Camp are now fully enrolled. *We are now accepting students for our waiting list, and families will be notified with priority if a spot becomes available. This summer, we are excited to offer our 3rd annual music camp for children ages 4–7. The camp is limited to up to 6-8 children, creating a small and intimate learning environment. This is a fun, vibrant, and engaging summer music camp where children can joyfully explore music while building confidence and creativity. Each child will have the opportunity to explore ukulele or guitar, piano, singing, solfege, group music activities, and art. In the afternoons, children will also receive private lessons, allowing for individualized instruction and personal attention. Even for children who are not currently taking lessons, this camp provides a wonderful opportunity to explore music in a relaxed and encouraging environment! |

Welcome to KOKO Music DUMBO! We offer Early Childhood Music Classes for children aged 3&4 inspired by Solfège techniques, as well as private/semi-private lessons for PIANO, GUITAR, and VOICE at all levels.
We are a small, child-centered music school that values intimacy and coziness. Our aim is to offer quality lessons that are highly adaptable, allowing every student and family to develop a close relationship with each teacher, fostering a vibrant musical community. Therefore, we work best with families who are interested in building a long-term relationship with music. Our students range from absolute beginners to advanced learners, spanning from 3 to 80 years old! We provide performance chances twice a year at a professional music venue.
KOKO means "here" in Japanese, and this is the place where we all make music harmoniously together. KOKO MUSIC cultivates a collaborative creative environment where music learners from all backgrounds can enjoy, explore, express, and expand their musicality.
Our practice utilizes unique and individualized methods that enhance the students' learning experiences through tailored programs. Our goal is not just to offer lessons, but to cultivate and provide student-centered, positive, engaging and quality musical experiences in intimate and comfortable settings to expand the potential in students of all abilities, and to support each student as music becomes a meaningful part of their life over time.
Our team are dedicated professional musicians and educators who have a genuine passion and love for teaching children and adults of all levels. Music brings beauty and inspiration into their everyday lives, while gently teaching them important life lessons — like patience, resilience, focus, and the courage to keep trying. It's not just about playing notes; it's about helping each child discover their own voice and shine in their own unique way. It is our greatest pleasure to share this gift that lasts a lifetime!

STUDIO EQUIPMENT
We have two individual lesson rooms. One room is equipped with two grand pianos—a Steinway Model L and a Yamaha C3X—while the other room features a professional Yamaha upright piano (U3). The open space is designated for group classes and is equipped with small instruments.
