ADVANCED MUSICOCOTTE 3K to Pre-K Drop-off Class
3:30-4:15pm Thursdays (up to 3 students)
*5-week program
Designed for 3-K to pre-school students, this intimate and slightly advanced music class will introduce the concepts of music and build a solid foundation for future musical endeavors! This is not a typical toddler socialization class, and the class size is small to ensure that each student can actively participate and learn. The little musicians will begin learning how to read musical notations, basic music theory, and terms, as well as the rhythms and melodies using colorful and enjoyable Solfège materials! Though they won't be required to learn instruments in the class yet, they will develop a love for music and acquire the skills needed for a smooth transition to individual music instruction. This class is led by two professional musicians.
We NEVER use recorded music, and focus on quality live acoustic music. We put a huge emphasis on building healthy, positive and engaging teacher-student relationship. Live acoustic music is highly adaptable, and can meet us where we are, and bring us to where we'd like to be.
*Solfege is a comprehensive music education method that focuses on singing, sight-reading, ear training, music theory, and rhythmic studies.
