Also, we go outside to play music if the weather allows. Let's play music together and make friends through music!

FAQ
1. Can you provide more details about the "optional private lessons" in the morning option?
All instructions are a small group. We believe that every child should receive at least one private lesson to ensure their preparedness for the Friday performance. We will ask each student's choice of instrument before a private lesson.
2. What is the teacher-to-student ratio? How many kids are expected to enroll in the program? What is the age range of students in each class?
Since our studio is small, we will limit the maximum number of students to 10 at a time. It depends on the age groups and the number of children participating; however, we will divide them into two groups: 4-5 years old and 6-8 years old. We will maintain a ratio of at least 5:1.
3. Are lunch and/or snacks included?
No. We kindly ask each student to bring their own lunch and snacks.
4. How do kids engage in songwriting if they don't yet know how to write?
We will start with the fill-in-the-blank activity. First, we are going to ask students to choose a theme for a song. We may provide a short and simple sentence, left without a word, and encourage them to pick a word that fits the theme and the sentence. We are going to learn the ukulele and basic chords in the afternoon before lunch. We use the chords that they learn during the songwriting class. We encourage them to create a short melody and lyrics to go with the chord. We continuously work on developing the song.
5. What are the schedules for the extended day? What activities will kids be doing?
We will have those activities below.
-Music & Art. Painting and drawing on a large paper while listening to classical, pop, and jazz music can help broaden one's imagination.
-Dance to different countries' music.
-Watch family-friendly musical movies like "The Sound of Music."
-Mini concert time. Students will listen to music while our teacher performs.
Basically, all activities are based on music. We will avoid having a long open play session. We will strive to provide as many "music" experiences as we can.
6. Will there be group performances at the end of each week or camp?
Yes, we will. Hopefully, we can showcase a song created by children in our songwriting class or a song from our choir class, along with mini solo performances on piano, ukulele, or voice!
